Dark Matter Composites reckons it provides the most extensive and comprehensive range of composites courses in the UK.
Dark Matter Composites reckons it provides the most extensive and comprehensive range of composites courses in the UK.
The range includes two- and five-day set courses, bespoke courses and full NVQ training and assessment programmes.
The suite of two-day courses is aimed at enthusiasts and small companies who want to use composites, but cannot find good information or guidance.
These courses are intense, in-depth but at the end of each course, participants should feel confident in using readily available materials, safely in a basic workshop environment.
Courses are now scheduled into 2007 and include: Simple pre-preg laminating - 19th-20th August 2006; Simple wet lay-up laminating - 23rd-24th September 2006; and Repairing GRP composites - 14th-15th October 2006.

The suite of five-day courses is aimed at training personnel for the composites industry.
These courses are intensive, in-depth and follow industry practice throughout.
They are suitable for beginners through to skilled personnel.
Assessments activities are built into the courses to give feedback on the achievement and potential of delegates.
A full year's course schedule is currently being compiled and will be released soon, along with online information and booking facilities.
