The Right Honourable Geoffrey Hoon MP, Secretary of State for Defence, paid a visit to Design Reality on 18th April 2005.
The Right Honourable Geoffrey Hoon MP, Secretary of State for Defence, paid a visit to Design Reality on 18th April 2005.
Design Reality has worked on various defence design projects for the last few years and was recently successful in assisting Scott Health and Safety win a GBP 40 million contract for the development and manufacture of the new general service respirator.
During his visit Hoon commented: "an outstanding example of hi-tech information providing much needed jobs and investment in the local area".
Hoon toured the new facility and met members of the design team who continue to play a vital role in keeping the new general service respirator design at the forefront of its field, now and into the future.
The new Design Reality office, the most advanced and well equipped design office in North Wales, will continue to supply design services on defence projects with greater capacity than before.
While being shown various technical innovations at Design Reality the Secretary showed great interest in the work carried out at Design Reality.
