Diamond takes on force sensing products for PCs
Under a new distribution agreement, Diamond Electronics is to distribute InControl Solutions' products in the UK including the the Button Mouse PCB, MediaPoint and other force sensor products
The displays can be supplied as stand-alone panels; with a range of controller cards; as kits with all major components for specific application areas; or as complete packaged solutions.
Diamond can also undertake custom design solutions, building the panels into sub-systems configured to meet customers' exact requirements.
Controller cards span applications such as high-performance acceleration for Microsoft Windows displays; 3-D graphics acceleration; and conversion and display of RGB signal streams.
For users who are incorporating the panels into applications such as industrial monitoring and control displays, Diamond can supply a complete kit that includes the TFT panel together with a PC controller card with a full industrial specification, that will easily handle data acquisition, control and display functions.
Fully configured kit solutions can also be supplied for RGB conversion applications.
Recognising that industrial control and other applications often require panels to operate in lighting conditions that are much less than ideal, Diamond will also make available a series of options that upgrade the viewability of the displays with high brightness or high contrast enhancements.
This new series of display products will be highlighted on Diamond Electronics' stand number E101 at the forthcoming ECIF Show.
On show will be 15in and 17in "SMART" units from the range, configured in a solution that integrates an analogue-to-digital converter board, data scaling and on-screen display.
