Dichtomatik has more than doubled its stock capacity by increasing its warehouse vertical carousel storage units to twelve.
Dichtomatik has more than doubled its stock capacity by increasing its warehouse vertical carousel storage units to twelve.
This gives the company potential stock locations for thousands of products, providing an overall storage capacity of many millions.
This major investment by the company reinforces its claim as the premier UK supplier of O rings, rotary shaft seals, wiper seals and high performance PTFE seals for rotary and linear sealing applications.
These are typically used in pneumatic and hydraulic components, but with many other varied uses throughout the industrial, engineering and processing markets.
Previous traditional racks and bin storage at the Dichtomatik new showplace premises on Pride Park at Derby have now been replaced by the carousel storage units.
Order picking times have therefore been minimised so that an even better turnaround on orders for stock components can now be offered.
With a 52.5 hour working week, Dichtomatik can take orders and dispatch goods up to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
A guaranteed 'next day' delivery is provided to meet customers' most demanding production schedules.
