PlasWin is an easy-to-use PC-based application that incorporates the most frequently used injection mould design requirements The program has been structured in such a way that it offers an affordable, and more practical alternative to expensive CAD package plug-ins
With PlasWin, users can calculate: part cooling; wall thickness; cooling channel; gate size; injection time; pillar spacing; runner size; and core design.
PlasWin comes preconfigured with the following material profiles: PE-LD, PE-HD, PP, PS-GP, PS-HI, ABS, SAN, PA-6, PA-66, PC and PVC-R.
But users can easily add their own materials or edit existing values The purchase price for the application is US$50 per licence.
