High school wins using Presenter 3D
Students from North Farmington High School used the Presenter 3D visualisation package to good effect at the 76th annual conference of the Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society.
MITES, the Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society held its 76th annual conference at Central Michigan University on 13th and 14th May 2004 Over 4000 total projects were entered from students across the state of Michigan in categories ranging from MCAD design, woodworking, and an on-site, all day construction team project

North Farmington High School students entered many categories, and in fact placed 66 projects in the top 10, 31 in the top 3, and 14 state champions.
Student Chris Sutton won two first place blue ribbons at the competition - both using Presenter 3D.
The two categories were "CAD photorealistic rendering" and "CAD presentation package", which was also a Division Winner.
North Farmington High School pioneered the use of Presenter 3D in its district with an initial 15 seats, and quickly doubled that to 30 seats due to popularity with the students and competitions such as MITES.
Due to the ease of use, students spend less time in class learning interface and nuances of the software, and can take their Autodesk Inventor designs directly into Presenter 3D to create highly realistic output to properly communicate their original design intent.
Chris Sutton started working on his award winning design after using Presenter 3D for just a week.
During the MITES competition, Terry Cotant, VP-Product Development for Digital Immersion Software gave a lecture and live demos to hundreds of curious teachers who attended the MITES conference.
"Presenter 3D has been picking up tremendous momentum in the educational sector over the past six months", says Cotant.
"After the announcement that Chris used Presenter 3D to win in two categories, the level of interest increased dramatically at the show, so we were kept quite busy with demos for the entire show".
"However, we still had a few minutes to check out all of the amazing projects on display".
