Scanning software provides fast results
NanoFocus usurf technology is based on fast optical filtering carried out by a confocal spatial filter.
Surfcom Map software, powered by Digital Surf's Mountains technology, is used to visualise and analyse surface measurement data.
It will be sold directly by Accretech in Japan and parts of Asia and by Accretech's partner, Carl Zeiss, in Europe, the USA and south-east Asia.
Available on three levels, Surfcom Map provides analysis of all scanned surfaces.
Its advanced 3D and 2D imaging, visual studies and detailed reports are used to investigate surface properties and to locate and diagnose defects.
Thanks to Digital Surf's participation in the ISO technical committee responsible for defining standards for 3D surface texture measurement, Surfcom Map already supports forthcoming 3D standards.
"The agreement with Digital Surf is in accordance with our corporate philosophy," said Hitoshi Yoshida, Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the Measuring Instrument Group of Accretech - Tokyo Seimitsu.
"Our aim is to grow together with partners and customers by combining technology, knowledge and information from internal and external sources to create the world's number one products".
"The launch of Surfcom Map means that our customers have access to powerful and comprehensive analysis software running on Digital Surf's established Mountains platform".
