Space-saving coupling for offset shaft
drives
The Inkoma PK coupling is a space-saving solution to the problem of connecting shafts having large radial offset.
The Inkoma PK coupling is a space-saving solution to the problem of connecting shafts having large radial offset The parallel crank design principle, ensures input movement is reproduced without losses at the output
The coupling operates with constant velocity and is torsionally stiff.
Backlash is minimal although drive train pre loading or braking will reduce this virtually to zero if required.
Angular misalignment should be compensated by the inclusion of a single disc flexible coupling.
Offset is dynamically variable within catalogue limits, and PK couplings operate effectively even with rapid cyclical movement.
A comprehensive technical catalogue lists couplings for shaft offsets of up to 310mm, and advises on selection, application and life.
