Dakota releases polysulfone-based flow meters

A Dakota Instruments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 16, 2008

Dakota Instruments has introduced a line of injection-moulded flow meters.

Manufactured from polysulfone, a heat-resistant thermoplastic material, these flow meters provide good chemical resistance.

Inherently stable flow indications provide accuracy, repeatability of readings and allow for virtually maintenance-free operation.

Flow readings are achieved with minimal pressure loss.

Quik Loc (half union) connectors couple the meter body to the pipe connectors at the end of the flow meter.

An optional integral flow adjustment valve is available for panel-mounted meters.

Models are available with 316 SS, PTFE, or PVC floats.

Polysulfone meters meet the performance demands of a wide variety of industry-specific applications including air-sampling equipment, water treatment and distribution systems, photo processing equipment, aquaculture, and desalinisation equipment.
