Datalogic's new Matrix-2000 is its first fixed position reader combining 2D image acquisition, integrated LED lighting system, decoding and communication in a single compact unit

CIM 2000 will see the launch of Datalogic's new Matrix-2000, its first fixed position reader combining 2D image acquisition, integrated LED lighting system, decoding and communication in a single compact unit.

The Matrix-2000 will be available in four models - Ultra High Density, High Density, Standard Density and Low Density - the different combinations of optics and lighting systems guaranteeing the highest accuracy in identifying codes with varying resolutions and at different distances.

Matrix-2000 is equipped with a double high speed serial RS232/485 communication interface.

The user-friendly and easy to follow set-up procedures are supported by a powerful Windows(-based configuration software.

Measuring only 58 x 72 x 120mm and designed for easy integration into OEM equipment, Matrix-2000 can be used in a wide range of applications, including PCB and electronic manufacturing, packaging lines, small item tracking and document handling systems.
