With the Gryphon M100 and Gryphon M200 versatile cordless scanners, Datalogic introduces instinctive reading distance technology in a cordless bar code device

Datalogic has developed the radio version of the Gryphon reader series to provide optimised reading performance through excellent ergonomic design, a natural instinctive reading approach and innovative good reading feedback with no mobility restraints.

Gryphon M100 and Gryphon M200 are two versatile cordless scanners that join the Gryphon reader series combining outstanding reading performance and maximum user mobility and versatility.

With these two models, Datalogic introduces instinctive reading distance technology in a cordless bar code device.

Both versions still feature a bright, sharp aiming line and the "green spot" which provides good-reading feedback directly on the code, where the user usually tends to be looking.

The Gryphon M100 and M200 cordless readers go where the data needs to be managed: up to 100 ft/30m from the host covering an area of more than 30000 sqf/2500 m2.

They communicate through a low-power radio frequency (RF) transmission in 433 MHz band which does not require a license.

Specially optimised optics allow reading of the most popular standard codes with superior depths of field from near contact to over 30 cm.

High resolution codes, which can reach 3 mm are also easily read.

Both cordless Gryphon versions scan and decode 270 times per second, that's seven times faster than a laser.

The Gryphon M100 can read all common linear bar codes, whereas the M200 can decode the most popular stacked codes such as PDF417, CODABLOCK and CODE 16K as well as traditional bar codes.

Thanks to onboard Flash memory, the reader can be easily upgraded when new features and new symbologies become available.

The Gryphon M series, a cordless reader designed for residential and light industrial environments combining mobility, durability and aggressive scanning performance.

In factory or warehouse applications where the cable restricts movement, a cordless device is simply the better solution.
