Datalogic has improved its cost-effective solution for OEM applications with the latest version of the DS1100 fixed position laser barcode reader.
Datalogic has improved its cost-effective solution for OEM applications with the latest version of the DS1100 fixed position laser barcode reader.
The DS1100 is specifically designed to be easily integrated in OEM equipment, with compact in dimensions and light weight.
The new DS1100 has an improved scanning speed of 500 scans per second, enabling higher process throughput.
It scans close to the output window and provides optimised performance on high-resolution codes.
In addition, the motor can be switched on and off via software commands, depending on the needs of the application.
This feature increases the product life of the DS1100 and improves the silence of the equipment into which it is built.
The DS1100 still has versions with direct and 90-degree output windows, which have the same compact dimensions for flexible installation.
It has two high-speed serial interfaces making integration and connection with existing control systems very easy.
In addition, it is resistant to dust and water.
The DS1100 is ideal for use in machines such as chemical and blood analysers, pharmaceutical code analysers, automatic teller machines, printers, video rental and film processing machines.
It can also be used on assembly lines, as well as WIP and quality control.
