Vanderlande Industries is one of the largest worldwide suppliers of automated material handling systems for the handling of baggage at airports and goods in distribution centres, express parcel sorting facilities and the manufacturing industry.
For its projects in baggage handling systems in the international airports of Ankara, Dalaman, Izmir, Moscow and Cairo, Vanderlande Industries has chosen Datalogic Benelux as the supplier of complete barcode scanner solutions based on the DS8100A and DX8200A omnidirectional laser barcode scanners.
This order, with a total value of more than Eur 600,000, is proof that the market leader Datalogic is considered to be an authoritative player in the field of omnidirectional scanning systems.
Datalogic and Vanderlande Industries have been working together for many years in the field of automated material handling systems.
This order confirms, in particular, the validity of Datalogic's barcode scanners for use in baggage handling applications ranging from local airports to the world's largest facilities.
