Datalogic has announced its sales figures for Q3 2006, with consolidated revenues of Eur 281.7 million for the first nine months of 2006, compared with Eur 132.8 million for the same period the previous year (+112%).

Revenues for the third quarter alone came to Eur 92.8 million, an increase of 101% on Q305 (Eur 46.2 million).

The group's consolidation area has changed since 2005, as 2006 revenues also include sales from PSC, a US-based company, acquired at the end of the previous financial year and consolidated as from December 2005.

Net of PSC, Datalogic's for the first nine months of 2006 sales were up 14% to reach Eur 151.1 million.

The activities aimed at increasing business unit value are progressing rapidly and successfully", declared Roberto Tunioli, Datalogic's CEO.

"We are pleased that attention has been drawn to our industry by IT giants such as Motorola or by important financial operators such as Francisco Partners".

"Indeed, Symbol and Metrologic, important players in our market - continued Tunioli - have been a focus for their attentions attributing significant economic value".
