The new IPC/15 provides an XGA-resolution 1024 x 768 pixel display, making it ideal for paperless manufacturing environments - by enabling CAD, production control data, assembly or inspection information to be exchanged rapidly with production staff.
An RF network option also underlines the new model suitability for mobile use within warehousing and logistics industry applications.
The unit's impact resistant ABS housing and sealed design allow it to withstand aggressive working environments, while its slimline 15 inch display is complemented by a range of mounting options to suit restricted access applications.
An optional touch screen interface simplifies operation, enhances system security, and eliminates the need for external keyboards or mice.
The new model incorporates an integrated network adapter, standard parallel and serial interfaces, as well as a series of communications ports for chip card readers or other peripherals - ensuring maximum operational flexibility and versatility.
Also on show at CIM will be DLoG's range of software solutions for manufacturing.
The company will be demonstrating a variety of integrated solutions for fast and accurate transmission of shop floor data - along with DNC, tool management, work in progress, finite capacity scheduling, OEE, TPM and TPE reporting capabilities.
