A stainless steel version of its popular touch screen industrial PC is the latest addition to DLoG UK's proven range of networking hardware for manufacturing and process industry applications.

The IPC/500 SS is designed specifically to meet stringent food and pharmaceutical sector hygiene regulations.

It offers fast and accurate transfer of production data, combined with extended, trouble-free operation under the most demanding operating conditions.

With a stainless steel housing that exceeds IP65 protection standards, the easy-to-clean flat screen unit is resistant to jet washing, as well as all common disinfectants and detergents.

It is offered with 12 or 15 inch visible displays and features a convenient touch screen interface - to ensure system security and simple operation without the need for external keyboards or mice.

An integrated network adapter, parallel and serial interfaces, and a series of communications ports are all provided as standard to ensure system flexibility and versatility.

The IPC/500 SS is available with up to 256 Mb RAM and supports MS-DOS 6.2x, Windows 3.1x, Windows 95/98, Windows NT3.51/NT4.0, Windows 2000 and Linux operating systems.

The new unit can also be supplied with an internal CD or external 3.5 in floppy disk drive, and an optional automatic data collection (ADC) interface.
