Data collection system connects office and factory
All relevant data for the manufacturing process is automatically retrieved from the ERP system, conveniently arranged and then presented in a user-friendly format
The offer is based on the availability of suitable digital signals to record the status of each machine and is subject to participating companies sending at least one person on a full day Prisma data collection and analysis training course.
Once installed, DLoG will agree success criteria with each new user to enable the savings achieved through the Prisma system to be monitored closely.
"The ability to accurately analyse machine downtime, and the reasons for it, are fundament to improving machine utilisation and maximising the return on machine investments", maintains DLoG's Managing Director, John Davis.
"Research shows that the increase in manufacturing capacity gained by most Prisma users provides a typical system payback period of between 6 and 12 months".
"Our new 'try before you buy' offer therefore gives customers a risk-free method of harnessing these benefits under their own production conditions".
As a further incentive, DLoG will provide one year's free software support to all customers confirming their data collection system orders following the three month free installation period.
DLoG's Prisma data collection and machine monitoring software is suitable for use on industry-standard Windows PCs with 486 DX processors or above.
In addition, the company offers a wide range of touch screen data collection terminals and IPC hardware to enable manufacturers to tailor fully integrated shopfloor information systems to their specific requirements.
