The competitive benefits of fast and accurate shop floor data management and recording will be highlighted by DLoG's range of hardware and software solutions for manufacturing at two IT Showcase events taking place in Leeds and Wigan on 8th and 9th March.

The company's presentation of shopfloor technology will cover everything from simple DNC, to sophisticated production data management systems that can be developed into fully paperless manufacturing solutions.

Also on show will be DLoG's Prisma machine monitoring and shopfloor data collection packages.

These not only enable key production performance indicators such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to be reported automatically, but also allow operators to book on and off specific jobs using simple touch-screen terminals - to provide manufacturers with a fully integrated shopfloor information system.

The productivity, efficiency and time-to-market benefits of touch screen data transfer, collection and reporting will also be highlighted through demonstrations of the company's latest hardware for shop floor, manufacturing and process industry applications.

The company's recently upgraded DNeT IPC 6/215 provides a 15in XGA colour display that supports multimedia and high-speed graphics.

Its solid aluminium housing ensures maximum electromagnetic compatibility and optimum thermal properties, enabling the IPC6/215 to operate safely in ambient temperatures up to 50C.

In addition, its sealed design provides IP65 protection for use in aggressive working environments.

With a wide range of mounting options, DLoG's MPC terminal is the ideal choice for fork lifts, straddle carriers, trucks and other vehicle mounted applications.

It can be supplied for 12, 24 or 48V DC power inputs and features a display that can be adjusted easily for both indoor or outdoor use.

Integrated wireless networking is also offered, along with an automatic switch-off option that prevents the vehicle's battery from being drained when the ignition is turned off.

A CompactFlash disk ensures the highest levels of reliability and durability and the unit's USB and serial ports are located at the base of the unit for easy access and maximum protection under a sealed cable cover.
