Networking and manufacturing data solutions specialist DLoG (UK) has added a half screen VGA Windows CE terminal, the DNeT X7, to its rapidly expanding range of hardware for industrial and mobile applications.

Measuring just 227 x 158 x 83mm, the DNeT X7 incorporates an Intel PXA270 processor - the so-called XScale chip - running at up to 520MHz.

It also features a 7in colour TFT touch screen display with portrait and landscape format options, WLAN and GSM connectivity, plus two RS232 serial ports and two USB ports.

The terminal is ruggedly constructed and provides extreme shock and vibration resilience.

In addition, the DNeT X7 meets IP54/IP65 protection standards and accommodates operating temperatures as low as -30C, making it an ideal choice for even the most demanding industrial and logistics applications.

Powered by a 24 or 48V DC supply, the new unit supports Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system and is supplied with 64Mbyte SDRAM and up to 512Mbyte of disk space.
