Vehicle screen blanks when in motion
MPC 6 and IPC 7 vehicle-mounted terminals can blank when in motion, removing a distraction for the driver.
DLoG has added an option to its MPC 6 and IPC 7 vehicle-mounted terminals, designed to increase safety and efficiency while cutting costs The feature enables the screen to automatically switch to blank mode while the truck is in motion and when the lift mechanism is operated
This prevents the driver from being distracted by viewing/operating the screen while driving, resulting in faster and safer operation.
Screen blanking can cut the number and severity of accidents involving fork lift trucks.
The screen blanking function can be easily customised to meet the requirements of different vehicles, while the integral software enables a time delay to be selected before the screen switches to blank, as well as a minimum stationary time before the screen switches back on.
The optional safety feature will also be available on DLoG's X series terminals later in the year.
