The UK's first supplier of complete riveting and fastening solutions offers machines, spares and equipment that covers impact riveting to orbital fastening.
DMG Engineering has become the UK's first supplier of complete riveting and fastening solutions offering machines, spares and equipment that covers impact riveting to orbital fastening.
This means that wide variety of solutions can now be provided ranging from very small 3mm diameter rivets through to 38mm diameter rivets, orbital forming, impact riveting, and thermal fastening suitable for plastics.
Managing Director Jon Isaacs said: "We found that the market for riveting machines and solutions in UK and Europe had somewhat stagnated meaning that the choice for customers was really limited to very old, second-hand machines or alternatively new machines that were overpriced and used technology that had changed little in 40 years".
"How is anyone supposed to gain a competitive edge with that situation?".
"So, what we have done is to address the problem head on by providing a range of standard, new machines and equipment that can be configured and tailor by ourselves to suit each customer's need".
"We have broken the mould by not limiting ourselves to one type of fastening technology, such as impact riveting - we are able to do this because we are professional engineers and not simply a machine builder".
"This means that we can assist each customer in finding the most appropriate riveting or fastening technology for their application and then provide a machine at a cost effective price".
DMG is based in central UK near Worcester and has a record of providing solutions for high profile customers including Airbus, Ford, and Lamb Technicon.
However, it is the smaller scale customers who are really driving the business and the demand for reasonably priced riveting and fastening solutions has never been greater.
