Rubber company gains new approvals

As part of its manufacturing processes, DP Seals' custom-built presses generate high pressures and temperatures, creating potential health and safety issues.
However, the attention to machinery guards, computerised fail-safe machine interlocks and extensive staff training underpinning DP Seals' enviable safety record has enabled the company to gain OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Policy Approval, also at its first attempt.
