New valve management programme from Dresser
The Valscope valve testing system from Dresser Valve Division has sophisticated software helps determine valve function, repair (in-situ or off site) and/or replacement needs
It provides additional diagnostic capabilities for evaluating both valve and control loop performance without disturbing the process.
Digital communication is achieved using the standard HART(r) communications protocol.
The new compact design represents a response to market demand for broader functionality at reduced cost.
For example SVI II integrates new advances in "low power" electronics with a modular design construction, allowing for greater flexibility in achieving the right solution for any specific application.
Modular construction also permits easier field upgrades and more cost effective maintenance.
Some of the key features and options available with the SVI II include single or double-acting designs, corrosion resistant construction, NACE sour gas compatibility, and adaptable mounting for any valve in the marketplace.
The SVI II also gives enhanced PID control algorithm performance and achieves increased accuracy and resolution of valve position feedback through advanced non-contact technology.
Users can access the SVI II's full suite of functions and capabilities by using the Masoneilan ValVue(r) digital communications software program.
ValVue allows users to communicate remotely with any SVI unit and provides access to all configuration, calibration, diagnostic, and controller functions within the instrument.
