The Consolidated 3500 Electromatic Ball valve from Dresser Valve Division, designed principally for automatic overpressure protection for steam boiler systems, has an improved control package.

The Consolidated 3500 Electromatic Ball valve from Dresser Valve Division, designed principally for automatic overpressure protection for steam boiler systems, has an improved control package.

The Ledeen actuator now specified is a high quality scotch yoke design and is intended for long service life.

The valve has a rugged frame which is both non-pressurised and totally waterproof.

This ensures that the rotary seals on the output shaft do not contribute to a pressure leak.

Also, every mechanism with linear or rotary movement in the frame has low-friction bushing to support it.

A unique cap seal assembly is designed to cope with dynamic applications that vary widely in operation from low to high frequency.

The combination of this seal and the corrosion-resistant sealing surface of the cylinder and piston rod ensures extended maintenance-free performance.

Accessories include a Westlock Accutrak 2000 High Visibility Position Monitor, with Nema 4, 4x, 7, 9-rated aluminium enclosure and Beacon high visibility monitor.

Additional switches may be added to provide a valve position signal to DCS or other control system.
