Design Rule has announced the general availability in the UK of Smart-UG, connecting the EDS Unigraphics Solutions CAD/CAM suite and SmarTeam's PDM/CPC solution
Design Rule has announced the general availability in the UK of Smart-UG, delivering complete integration of the EDS Unigraphics Solutions CAD/CAM suite and SmarTeam's PDM/CPC solution.
Smart-UG, which has been developed by Cimtech Software GmbH, will be offered throughout the UK by Design Rule, the leading UK based SmarTeam Enterprise Solution reseller.
"Unigraphics is a leading solution for advanced CAD/CAM and SmarTeam is realising phenomenal growth in the PDM market space.
Connecting these two industry leading products in a seamless manner through Smart-UG allows users of Unigraphics to manage their models and assemblies more effectively, while improving their total design process efficiency within the SmarTeam environment," says Bob Hillier, Director of Product LifeCycle Solutions at Design Rule.
Design Rule specialises in providing business solutions for the entire design process, from new product introduction (NPI) methodologies, through knowledge-based design management, to design process optimisation and automation.
These solutions are powered by SmarTeam.
Along with Smart-UG, Design Rule announced a series of Smart-UG services including training, installation, and Quick Start services designed to ensure rapid customer deployment.
