Design Rule has announced the general availability in the UK of Smart-UG, connecting the EDS Unigraphics Solutions CAD/CAM suite and SmarTeam's PDM/CPC solution

Design Rule has announced the general availability in the UK of Smart-UG, delivering complete integration of the EDS Unigraphics Solutions CAD/CAM suite and SmarTeam's PDM/CPC solution Smart-UG, which has been developed by Cimtech Software GmbH, will be offered throughout the UK by Design Rule, the leading UK based SmarTeam Enterprise Solution reseller

Connecting these two industry leading products in a seamless manner through Smart-UG allows users of Unigraphics to manage their models and assemblies more effectively, while improving their total design process efficiency within the SmarTeam environment," says Bob Hillier, Director of Product LifeCycle Solutions at Design Rule.

Design Rule specialises in providing business solutions for the entire design process, from new product introduction (NPI) methodologies, through knowledge-based design management, to design process optimisation and automation.
