New from Durex Industries is the Wedge-Lock coil heater, a new mini coil heater for injection moulding nozzles.

New from Durex Industries is the Wedge-Lock coil heater, a new mini coil heater for injection moulding nozzles.

The heating element is constructed with a rectangular configuration, which provides a significant increase in the contact surface of the heater to the nozzle, resulting in more efficient heat transfer than conventional units.

A clamping band featuring the new "wedge-lock" clamping mechanism that tightens with a standard Allen wrench.

This unique locking mechanism can be tightened to user requirements, which is not available in current products that use a cam locking mechanism.

The Wedge-Lock allows the heater to maintain full clamping force at elevated temperatures.

Flexible element extensions terminate to Teflon leadwires with moisture resistant seals.

Each heater is manufactured with a resistance tolerance of +/-2% for matched performance.

Standard sizes are available from stock.
