Durex Industries has expanded its line of immersion heaters for process solutions.

Immersion heaters from Durex are now available in screw-plug, flange and over-the-side styles to suit most applications in the process industries.

Virtually any solution, from acids to plating chemicals to food products and even molten salt baths, where a reliable source of immersed heat is required, can be accommodated by a Durex heater.

Standard features include heavy-duty MgO heating elements made entirely by Durex; NEMA moisture- or explosion-resistant enclosures; copper, steel or Incoloy sheath; welded construction and operating temperatures to 863C.

Optional features include thermostatic controls; other sheath materials such as Carpenter 20, Monel, Inconel or titanium; passivated elements and plugs/flanges for pure or deionized water, photo chemicals and other special processes.

A 28-page catalogue is available, which describes the full assortment of immersion heaters and tubular elements from Durex.

Both standard and custom styles are offered.
