Durex Industries manufacturers a complete line of mineral-insulated cable heaters, which can be formed into a wide variety of shapes and sizes to fit customer requirements.
These cable heaters deliver a reliable heat source at high temperatures in applications where standard heaters are impractical, due to size or space restrictions.
Durex cable heaters can be formed to cover cylindrical areas, which require a uniform heating pattern.
The elements are specially designed to function at operating temperatures in excess of 973C while maintaining excellent dielectric strength and insulation resistance properties.
Custom-formed cable heaters from Durex feature a moisture-resistant transition to a flexible leadwire, which can be supplied with additional protective jackets, such as stainless-steel braid or stainless steel armour.
A variety of electrical connectors are available for application-specific requirements.
