Furthering its strategy to deliver affordable e-collaborative product development capabilities to its manufacturing customers and their supply chains, Smart Solutions has announced mySmartMeeting The new powerful, Web-based collaboration tool will enable SmarTeam customers and their supply chains to collaborate on product development through a secure, online meeting space where parties can view, annotate and comment in real-time on drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), presentations, engineering change orders and other critical business information

This news follows SmarTeam's recent announcement on its partnership with WebEx and plans for integrating the WebEx interactive platform into its collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions.

mySmartMeeting is SmarTeam's first CPC offering to utilise WebEx as the underlying enabling technology to deliver this advanced level of collaboration capability to manufacturers.

"Our customers today are severely challenged by having colleagues, design engineers and supply chains scattered across geographies and time zones and, as a result, access to secure, accurate and current information is paramount," said Avichay Nissenbaum, vice president of product development for Smart Solutions.

mySmartMeeting is available immediately with four options.

Each option varies in functionality, duration of use and cost of service.

These include: 1.

Free Trial -use of the mySmartMeeting service free of charge, with limited time and meeting capabilities, and up to four participants per meeting.

2.

User Subscription -conduct meetings through the mySmartMeeting website, for meetings of up to eight participants.

3.

Corporate Site - create a customised online meeting site for your company, and conduct meetings for any number of participants.

4.

Pay-Per-Use - customers "pay as they go" for a flat usage rate.
