Sticky solution for WaterClear parts
DesoBond 956-105 is a new UV curable adhesive that boasts fast cure, high bond strength and seamless adhesion.

Stereolithography resin good enough for production
DSM Somos announces the release of the second member of the DSM Somos 9100 family of resins, Somos 9120, for use with solid state laser equipped stereolithography machines.
Mark Jones, Laser Reproductions' SL Shop Manager comments, "The biggest difference between the DesoBond adhesive and what we were using in the past is that it has an extremely quick cure rate and the overall strength is phenomenal.
We can tack parts on, such as tabs, in a matter of seconds that are as strong as the original part".
Jones also adds that post-processing time has been signifi cantly reduced due to the ease of sanding and the fact that the adhesive shows no fl oat a common problem with most adhesives whereby a tacky post-cure residue is left behind.
DesoBond cures completely, leaving no residuals.
Perhaps the best selling feature of the new DesoBond adhesive is Laser Reproductions' report that, prior to using it, they were unable to bond WaterClear parts togetherand are now able to do so without a noticeable seam.
Eva Montgomery, DesoBond Account Manager at DSM Desotech, states: "The DesoBond family of adhesives is growing in popularity as new applications are discovered where they are able to outperform other adhesives in the marketplace.
