Code generation with latest Matlab functions
Dspace has released the latest version of its popular TargetLink automatic code generation software, which is compatible with Matlab Release 12.1.
Controller aids automotive design
MicroAutoBox from Dspace is a programmable prototyping control unit for function development, now available in a new hardware version with a 300MHz processor.
Once it has been installed, Dspace customers can continue working with Dspace development tools as usual.
Real-Time Interface from Dspace is software for integrating Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow models into Dspace systems.
Over the past few years it has established itself as the standard tool for function prototyping and hardware-in-the-loop simulation based on Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow.
Using block libraries for Simulink, models can be easily connected to the input/output interfaces of the Dspace hardware by drag and drop.
There is a wide range of applications for this, and it speeds up every stage of the development cycle.
In rapid control prototyping, for example, a new control algorithm can be tested on a real system without the need to develop and programme a costly hardware prototype.
Moreover, hardware-in-the-loop simulation on Dspace systems means that both whole vehicles and parts of vehicles can be simulated for systematic testing of new electronic control units (ECUs).
Here again, Real-Time Interface helps to achieve fast implementation of the simulation model.
Model parameters such as the voltage level or resolution are set using convenient dialogues.
The model itself runs in real time on the powerful Dspace systems and parameters can even be changed during run time.
