Distrupol and Engel will host a new series of training courses in plastics technology commencing in October 2006.

Building on the success of their joint workshop and training programmes launched in 2005, Distrupol and Engel will host a new series of training courses in plastics technology commencing in October 2006.

The programme will be conducted under the banner of the Engel Moulders' Group and held at the company's UK headquarters' in Warwick.

As before, the courses are open to the industry at large and will be free of charge.

Throughout the events, Mike Madden, Head of Training, Engel UK, and Chi Lam, Technical and Training Manager, Distrupol, will be on hand to give valuable insight into subjects such as plastic materials performance and selection, appropriate tooling concepts, component and mould design, as well as machine and automation solutions.

"This is the second consecutive year we are running this programme in co-operation with Engel", said Chi Lam.

"Due to its success we have had to reduce the size of the group to a maximum of 20 guests per session".

"This is to benefit the delegates on the more 'hands-on' part of the programme, where they can be more involved in the practical part of the training".
