3D Systems has released a suite of new products for its SLA, SLS and MJM platforms.

3D Systems has released a suite of new products for its SLA, SLS and MJM platforms The products are designed specifically to improve its customers' bottom line

They include software upgrades that enhance the performance of selective laser sintering (SLS) systems, a part washer for productivity enhancement for 3D Systems stereolithography (SLA) systems and a new finisher for automated support removal for objects produced by 3D printing systems.

The new LS 3.3 software provides a host of new features that directly benefit 3D Systems' SLS system users including improved scanning options, improved productivity and enhanced part placement.

Two additional software products are now available for purchase complementing the new LS 3.3 software: SinterScan software and Real Monitor software.

The SinterScan software significantly improves surface finish, providing customers with better quality DuraForm PA/GF and CastForm PS parts and reducing any post-finishing labour.

The Real Monitor software provides customers with a new SPC (statistical process control) tool, allowing them to easily track and analyse important system information during builds.

3D Systems has introduced the ProClean SL part washer in response to customers' need to reduce post-processing time and labour intensity.

Proclean SL is a convenient, integrated, turnkey stereolithography solution.

It is an affordable, small-footprint SL part-cleaning solution for small to medium-sized parts.

This simple, easy-to-use, compact parts washer automatically cleans SL parts in approximately 10 minutes, reducing the labour intensity of post-processing activities.

The InVision Finisher complements the InVision 3D printer by providing automated support removal.

Easy to use, precise thermal controls ensure fast, reliable, repeatable and convenient support removal and part finishing for models produced with the InVision 3D printer.

Abe Reichental, 3D Systems president and chief executive officer, said: "These products enhance the production capability of our systems and demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers with real manufacturing solutions".

"This is a continuation of our efforts to provide to our customers with measurable economic benefits".

"We are focused on developing useful customer solutions by nurturing a strong culture of innovation with emphasis on total system development".

"Our commitment to advance the state of the art, in combination with the emergence of enhanced systems capabilities, advanced materials, focused field service and an extensive, dedicated application engineering organisation, results in greater benefits for our customers".

Reichental continued: "Expertly integrated system solutions, not machines or products alone, address our customers needs".

"Our ability to deliver complete solutions enables us to become a valuable partner in our customers' product development and manufacturing processes".

"Through this partnership, we continue to develop a deeper understanding of our customers' operations, which ultimately helps us to develop and deliver new and improved solutions that enhance the value we provide, resulting in valuable long-term relationships between 3D Systems and our customers".
