Accura si 45HC SL is a new material for all SLA 250 systems that provides build speeds significantly faster than competing resins.

Accura si 45HC SL is a new material for all SLA 250 systems that provides build speeds significantly faster than competing resins Designed with nylon 6:6-like properties, si 45HC material offers outstanding build speed and moisture resistance

In addition, parts made from si 45HC can withstand aggressive in-use high-temperature environments over 100C.

This results in a material that is ideal for applications such as temperature resistant parts and components, high stiffness thin-wall enclosures, moisture resistant parts, investment casting patterns and rigid snap-fit assemblies.

"The new Accura si 45HC SL material is designed specifically for one of our early stereolithography systems, our SLA 250 system".

"Introduced to the market in 1988, the SLA 250 system is a widely used favourite workhorse among our long-time customer base".

"We are delighted to continue to support these customers by providing them with a new stereolithography material that improves their bottom line by making models and parts faster", said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' President and Chief Executive Officer.

"The si 45HC was developed by working closely with our customer base to determine the best attributes and features required in a material for their applications".

"The result is a material that enables better use of the SLA 250 system through a combination of speed and functionality", continued Reichental.

"The si 45HC material combines high speed with excellent thermal and moisture resistance resulting in a material ideally suited for producing functional models and parts for in-use environmental testing".
