Data Translation President and CEO Fred Molinari is to join the Automated Imaging Association Board, the North American trade organization devoted to the machine vision industry
Data Translation today announced that President and CEO Fred Molinari was elected to join the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) Board, a prestigious North American trade organization devoted to the machine vision industry.
As part of a 15-member board, Mr Molinari will provide strategic direction to help AIA further the use and acceptance of machine vision technology throughout the world.
Mr Molinari will serve a two-year term effective immediately.
The Automated Imaging Association's mission is to promote the use of image capture and analysis technology through programs that provide value to its members.
Association programs help members identify and enhance their market position, establish their technology, and promote their products.
AIA also serves as the industryūs collective voice on market trends and technology.

The machine vision industry is experiencing phenomenal growth, and itūs a real honor to be part of this influential group to foster the advancements and adoption of machine vision technology, " said Fred Molinari.
Mr Molinari is founder, president, and CEO of Data Translation.
Data Translation was founded in 1973 and has been a public company since 1985, trading on the NASDAQ under the symbol DATX.
