Data Translation has introduced the DT351, a 16-channel isolated PCI digital I/O board which updates the capabilities of the popular DT2820 for the ISA bus.

Data Translation has introduced the DT351 board for the PCI bus, which updates the capabilities of the popular DT2820 for the ISA bus.

The DT351 is a 16-channel isolated PCI digital I/O board that offers 8 isolated digital inputs and 8 isolated digital outputs.

All inputs and outputs feature channel-to-channel optical isolation of at least 250 VDC and high current output drive capabilities, making it an ideal board for machine vision and automation applications.

The DT351 uses solid-state fuses, ensuring an interrupt on a status change on any of the 8 digital inputs.

Key features of the DT351 include: * 8 isolated inputs logic high input voltage 3.5V-32VDC * 8 isolated outputs with maximum load current of 100mA * 8 interrupt on status change capable input * standard 37 pin D-shell connector Additionally, the DT351 board interfaces with Data Translationûs machine vision software application, DT Vision Foundry, a versatile and extensible Windows-based machine vision software package.

"The DT351 reinforces Data Translationûs market position to provide our customers with total measurement solutions, from the classic sensors data acquisition products, to data acquisition products for machine vision applications" said Nigel Doe, UK Sales Manager.

The board comes with the Data Acquisition Omni CD?, a free software bundle that gets users up and running quickly and allows them to create customised applications that best suit their needs.

The DT351 will be available by August 1 at the low cost of ?395.00.
