At power on the unit auto-calibrates the gain and offset and 1000V channel-to-channel isolation provides reliable protection in harsh environments.

Data Translation's DT9872 temperature measurement module is a USB-based unit providing 48 channels of temperature measurement for RTDs It comes as a complete ready-to-measure solution, including both hardware and software

The screw terminals on the front panel allow easy connection of two, three and four-wire RTDs and connection to a PC via USB.

Each of the 48 channels has a dedicated 24bit A/D convertor, ensuring high-precision measurements without the need for multiplexers or amplifiers.

Measurement errors are virtually eliminated with Kelvin sensing.

At power on the unit auto-calibrates the gain and offset and 1000V channel-to-channel isolation provides reliable protection in harsh environments.

There are eight opto-isolated digital inputs and eight opto-isolated digital outputs that can be used to drive external relays.

The DT9872 hardware is complemented by a software application for viewing, limit checking, graphing, logging and analysing data from all 48 channels.

Exporting data to applications such as Excel and Matlab is also a standard feature of the software.

Measure Foundry test and measurement software can be used to modify and customise the standard application so that it meets specific requirements more closely.
