Datwyler Cables+Systems now offers certification workshops for installers enabling them to pass on the new Unilan 20 year system warranty for Datwyler's copper cabling systems to their customers.

Those who have already successfully completed a training course for a 15 year system warranty can attend an upgrade course.

The new 20 year warranty guarantees full functionality of the installed Unilan systems in accordance with the published applications and standards as well as a five year warranty for all Datwyler components.

This exceeds the ISO/IEC11801, TIA/EIA568 and EN50173 performance requirements.

In addition, Datwyler also offers various supporting services in relation to their highest quality copper cabling systems.

Dates and prices for the two day workshops for a maximum of eight participants are available from Datwyler and will be published on the company's website.

A Datwyler Certified Installer is allowed to apply for a system warranty for the projects he is implementing with Datwyler products.

When the project is finished, he provides Datwyler with the respective performance data and receives a warranty contract with certificate for the project.

He can then further use those documents for the end customer.

Datwyler provides comprehensive documentation for the new system warranty consisting of the "general terms of warranty" and various explanatory notes.

The main document describes the contract basis, and the notes provide details concerning product, performance and acceptance procedure regulations as well as registration and contract conclusion forms.
