Datwyler Cables+Systems is announcing the new MS Industry IP67 system for the transmission of Ethernet protocols in harsh and polluted industrial environments.

The future-proof system for the connection of four pairs of copper wires consists of special Cat 6 RJ45 MS Industry connection boxes and socket couplers and Cat 6 RJ45 MS Industry connectors, based on the proven MS module system for LANs, as well as specially developed Cat 6 copper cables in a rugged quad construction.

Datwyler also offers an IP20 DIN rail adapter, which accommodates one MS module.

With 1TE width, this adapter facilitates the mounting of up to 12 shuttered RJ45 connectors on a DIN rail TH35 in normal electrical patch panels and meets all parameters required for protection class 1 or 2 - depending on the mode of installation.

In order to ensure safe data transmission within industrial Ethernet applications, the terminated modular elements offer a wide surface, 360-degree screen termination, which provides good EMC properties.

Datwyler's MS Industry IP67 System components are designed for use in structured cabling solutions in the harsh industrial sector, in accordance with EN 50173-2 (draft).

They fulfil all parameters required for protection class IP67 and environment classes M3, I3, C3, and E3.

The system also meets the requirements for data transfer up to 250MHz according ISO/IEC 11801:9/2002 und EN 50173-1:2002.

The new industrial Ethernet cabling system is characterised by high quality, outstanding stability and long-term reliability.

For especially stable installations Datwyler offers the shielded data cable Uninet 6702, which is available for industrial environments with a polyurethane cable sheath and with a polyethylene cable sheath for outdoor applications.

The cables have a ruggedly construction with high load and compression resistance, providing customers and installers with additional performance security.

Their good electrical properties ensure unaltered signal transmission performance and make the cable highly tolerant to outside interferences.
