Ball valve for industrial applications uses plastics and dual-block control to provide anti-vibration properties.

Durapipe has launched the VKD ball valve for industrial applications Using plastic valve technology, it has dual-block control to provide anti-vibration properties

This makes it suitable for where vibration or thermal expansion occur, which can cause the nuts within valves to become unlocked.

The valve body is shaped to allow the direct, safe and easy installation of an actuation device, with the use of the Powerquick actuation module.

Powerquick has been developed for assembling pneumatic or electric actuators or other operational control devices on the valve body.

The double O-ring seal assures stem sealing.

There are optional handle locking mechanism and extension handle kits.

The seat stop system allows micro adjustment of the seats onto the ball while the valve is still in line.

Available in ABS, PVC-U, PVC-C, polypropylene and PVDF materials, the valve has been produced using injection moulding technologies, making it suitable for use with working pressures up to 16bar at 20C.

Sizes range from 16 to 110mm.
