Type 200 Series digital strain gauge amplifiers from Datum Electronics have been designed to provide serial data from one or more load cells.

Type 200 Series digital strain gauge amplifiers from Datum Electronics have been designed to provide serial data from one or more load cells.

They can be configured to supply either scaled or raw data from one, two, four or eight load cells which link directly back into a PC workstation.

They are easy to operate and install and can be modified to work with all types of load cells, pressure transducers, displacement transducers and torque transducers.

The Type 200 series are designed to take input from a strain gauge and provide serial digital data, relating to input, to other electronic equipment.

This can be done either through a single channel connection (DTP201), a dual channel connection (DTP202), a four channel connection (DTP204) or an eight channel connection (DTP208).

The amplifier is simple to install with basic commands making the 200 Series incredibly versatile and user friendly.

ASCII commands (such as $read, $run) are simple to use, and each amplifier comes with a set of easy to follow guidance notes.

The Type 200 Series can be applied to provide amplified signals for a number of different applications including: weighing systems; batch controllers; pressure monitoring; process plant monitoring; and differential pressure measurement.

The versatility of this product is one of its main features.

The Type 200 Series comprises of four different products in one.

By changing the number of channels, users can configure one, two, four or eight load cells at a time.
