DuPont is increasing prices for its range of engineering polymers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

DuPont is increasing prices for its range of engineering polymers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The various products of DuPont Engineering Polymers will increase by Eur 0.20/kg effective immediately.

For certain speciality products, colours and small quantity deliveries the price increases will be higher.

This increase is in response to significant and sustained increases in energy and raw material prices.

Depending on the evolution of market and economic conditions further price increases may become necessary.

The DuPont Engineering Polymers business manufactures and sells Crastin PBT, Rynite and Thermx PCT thermoplastic polyester resins, Delrin acetal resins, Hytrel thermoplastic polyester elastomers, Minlon mineral reinforced nylon resins, Tynex filaments, Vespel parts and shapes, Zenite LCP liquid crystal polymers and Zytel nylon resins.

These products serve global markets in the aerospace, appliance, automotive, consumer, electrical, electronic, industrial, sporting goods and many other diversified industries.
