DuPont Fluoroproducts is increasing global prices for all grades of DuPont Teflon PTFE fluoropolymers and Zonyl PTFE fluoroadditives by an average of 20% and all industrial grades of DuPont Tefzel ETFE and DuPont Teflon PFA by an average of 15%.

In addition, global prices for selected grades of DuPont Tedlar and DuPont Teflon films products will increase by an average of 10%.

These increases will be effective from 1st June 2004.

Fluoropolymers, fluoroadditives and films, marketed by DuPont under the Teflon, Zonyl, Tedlar and Tefzel brands are widely used as nonstick, chemical and temperature resistant surfaces as well as in specialty industrial applications.

This price increase reflects higher raw material costs and the high value that these products deliver to end-use products.
