The Otter Controls B4 Series vehicle harness protector provides a simple connection when placed in series with the wiring harness.

The Otter Controls B4 Series vehicle harness protector provides a simple connection when placed in series with the wiring harness.

Protecting an array of harnesses in automotive or other high electrical wiring assemblies and at the same time, doing it in a cost effective way, can be difficult and many times often impossible.

Otter's B4 provides the solution.

The B4 has standard quick connect terminals and can provide continuous current carrying protection up to 20A.

Its short circuit breaking capability is up to 80A inductive, 150A resistive.

The B4 overcurrent auto reset is set to limit the length of time for which these high currents pass, using a bimetal positive snap action design, thereby protecting the wiring harness.

It uses a Yazaki type insulated cover connector commonly used in automotive applications.
