Sensor pioneer expands management team
DeepStream Technologies has expanded its management team with the appointment of Jonathan Luke as Vice President of Engineering and David Hall as Business Development Manager, Switchgear.
DeepStream Technologies, a pioneer in high volume integrated 3D digital sensor technology has expanded its management team with the appointment of Jonathan Luke as Vice President of Engineering and David Hall as Business Development Manager, Switchgear The announcement comes only weeks after the appointment of Dr Richard Parry-Jones CBE, Ford's Chief Technical Officer, Global Product Development and Group Vice President to nonexecutive Chairman at DeepStream Technologies
DeepStream's 3D digital sensor technology enables energy metering to be embedded in protection devices, allowing itemised billing down to equipment and circuit level, giving building owners, energy and facility managers greater visibility of their energy usage and the ability to save both money and resources.
Jonathan Luke joins DeepStream Technologies from International Rectifier, the world leader in power management technology.
With over $1 billion in annual revenue and just under 6000 employees in 20 countries, Luke led a team of 40 test, product and process engineers and was responsible for introducing new products and managing improvements in process performance and product yields.
As Vice President of Engineering at DeepStream, Luke is responsible for the development and delivery of the company's products managing design, manufacturing engineering and operations and the management of client projects.
"Digital 3D sensor technology will revolutionise electrical protection devices and electrical appliances to make them more intelligent, with the potential to change how we live, work and use energy for the better".

David Hall has joined DeepStream Technologies as Business Development Manager for Switchgear, after eight years at Schneider Electric .
Working in a number of customer facing roles led to the responsibility of segment marketing manager, enabling him to gain a holistic understanding of power distribution and control products, their applications and customer markets.

DeepStream's global potential and technology has attracted both public and private sector funding to the tune of GBP 10 million so far from the Welsh Development Agency, HSBC and the venture capitalist, Doughty Hanson.
The company is looking for second round funding at present to expand further into Europe.
