Global role for Vedel
DeepStream Technologies has appointed Philippe Vedel as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

After working around the world including the USA, South East Asia, Italy and France, Vedel's last position was at Eaton Electrical as Managing Director of Global Operations, overseeing factories in China and North Africa while headquartered in Switzerland.
At DeepStream Technologies, Vedel will be responsible for global sales and marketing as the company seeks to expand sales of its intelligent digital sensor technology worldwide.
Vedel said: "I was attracted to DeepStream as an innovator of embedded, intelligent digital sensors, developing a new way of designing and producing sensor components that offers companies the opportunity to fundamentally change their business models for the better".
"I believe my experience of working in organisations with production facilities and offices around the world selling into global markets will contribute to DeepStream becoming a global provider of intelligent digital sensor technology".
Prior to Eaton Electrical, Vedel was President of LEM Instruments, a worldwide leader in power quality systems and services.
At LEM Instruments he sat on the executive management team for the LEM Group and helped turn the company into a global business after a series of acquisitions.
Vedel speaks English, Italian and French, holds a masters degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, a world leading business school.
