Auto-ranging meter for static charge measurement

A Dyne Technology product story

Meter takes away the guesswork of measuring distance by using an ultrasonic sensor to ensure repeatable static charge readings.

Dyne Technology is to market the Tantec E-Meter.

The meter takes away the guesswork of measuring distance by using an ultrasonic sensor to ensure repeatable static charge readings.

An intermittent audio beeping tone, along with a flashing LED, automatically confirms that the user is at the correct distance from the object to be measured.

The meter is auto-ranging, which eliminates the need for multiplication or chart look-ups to get the proper meter readings; these can be simply read directly from the meter.

With the E-Meter, users can store, retrieve and send to a printer up to 20m readings.

It has an indicator that warns if the battery is low.

The large LCD makes readings easy to see, even at a distance.

An optional printer is available for hard-copy documentation of static charge surveys.

This pocket sized meter can also be attached to a belt or carried in a briefcase.

The integrated hand grips, directly built into the housing, allow the user to retain a firm grip of the meter, even in greasy, oily or wet industrial environments.
