Etrage has released web access and batch processing for PSI - Plot Service for Pro/Intralink.

Etrage has released web access and batch processing for PSI - Plot Service for Pro/Intralink.

PSI provides designers and engineers an automatic means of plotting or creating communication files such as PDF files from drawings, parts or assemblies stored in the PTC's Pro/Intralink PDM system.

Plots or files are created automatically when an object stored in Pro/Intralink is promoted to an approved release level.

The new functionality takes PSI to the next level by providing on-demand processing for casual users through a web browser as well as providing batch capability for the PDM Administrator.

"Customers liked the original functionality of PSI, but they also wanted the ability to plot or create PDF files on-demand either through batch or by providing access through a standard web browser", said Bojan Rapaic, founder and President of Etrage.

Ron Zabilski, Director of Sales and Marketing continued: "PSI now enables Pro/Intralink user companies with the ability to process objects for plotting or PDF creation in a manner that makes sense for them; either automatically upon promotion of an object, with batch, or through the web".
