Plot Service for Pro/Intralink version 2.4.1 provides a method of automatically creating ProductView files from Pro/Engineer assemblies that are larger than 2Gyte.

Etrage has released Plot Service for Pro/Intralink version 2.4.1 with support for the creation of ProductView files from Pro/Engineer.

The functionality provides a method of automatically creating ProductView files from Pro/Engineer assemblies that are larger than 2Gyte.

PSI provides designers, engineers and administrators an automatic means of plotting or exporting Pro/Intralink objects to communication file formats such as native Pro/Engineer, IGES, PDF, DXF, HPGL, images files and now ProductView files.

PSI has four operating modes for creating plots or files.

They are web access, batch, command line or automatic monitoring of Pro/Intralink for objects promoted to an approved release level.

"For visualisation of entire projects in ProductView, our customers have asked us to process Pro/Engineer assemblies that exceed 2Gbyte Windows operating system limitation", states Ron Zabilski Etrage Director of Sales and Marketing.

"This new ProductView functionality will work with any size Pro/Engineer assembly", said Bojan Rapaic, founder and President of Etrage.

"However, it nicely provides an automatic solution for very large assemblies".
