Replace those filament lamps with LEDs!
Sussex based specialist manufacturer and supplier of commercial and industrial switch products EAO recommends the replacement of filament lamps with LEDs.
Use of the Laser Engraving capability allows, for example, OEMs to personalise and individualise keypads by engraving their company logos on the housings.
The engraving is not limited to metal keys either as plastic keys can also be engraved by EAO.
Many kinds of sophisticated results can be achieved using this new service, including letters, numbers, symbols, logos and other graphics.
All this can be achieved with reduced minimum order quantities.
Laser engraving gives highly accurate markings with a minimum resolution down to 0.1mm resulting in visually perfect delineation of graphics and characters.
Overall, the keypads benefit not only from the custom look, but also from the resultant high-quality 'feel'.
All the customer has to do is supply EAO with logos, characters and graphics electronically.
These may then be downloaded directly into the laser-engraving machine using .bmp or AutoCAD files such as .dxf and .dwg for 2-D drawings, or .igs format for 3-D drawings.
If customers use other file types, these too may be suitable.
Simply contact EAO for details.
Alternatively standard Windows fonts may be specified.
EAO's new Laser Engraving Service will soon have still more to offer as it will be possible to extend the service to illuminated keypads and other EAO Secme products.
These include switches and Touch Sensitive technology products. Request a free brochure from EAO ...
